Born in 1967, Belgrade. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. After passing the vocational exam she was awarded the general practitioner specialist qualification in 2001. She also passed the state examination.
Spent the most extensive part of her career at the Commissariat for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia in the position of an advisor (independent associate) for monitoring the access to rights in the area of health care. Proposed projects aiming at sheltering refugees with health problems. Cooperated with international, national, governmental and non-governmental organizations. Took part in programming and formulation of projects for EU pre-accession funds.
During her entire professional career she has had direct contact with clients in solving their problems and challenges, as well as problems of various groups.
Appointed Assistant Commissioner in July 2008.
Appointed Deputy Commssioner in March 2009.
Married, two children.
Assistant Commissioner for Reception, Accomodation and Sheltering, Return and Durable Solutions of Refugees
Born in 1965, in Ecka, near Zrenjanin. He graduated at the University of Novi Sad within the Technical Faculty “Mihajlo Pupin” in Zrenjanin and obtained a B.A. in Production Management, Engineer Degree.
He has extensive experience in working with refugees and IDPs. He was a team member and later on also a coordinator of the Regional Office for Reception and Accommodation of Refugees in Srednji Banat County.
He was a team leader during the registration of voters from Bosnia and Herzegovina for out-of-country voting in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1997.
Since 1998 until 2003 he worked as an Information Administrator and a mobile team leader with the Commission for Real Property Claims established under Annex 7 of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Since 2003 until 2005 he was the Head of Office of the War-affected Persons Relief and Protection Committee in Novi Sad implementing the project “Displaced in Serbia: Recovery through improved access to economic opportunities and legal rights”.
In March 2009 the Government of the Republic of Serbia has appointed him Assistant Commissioner for Refugees.
